After placing your order in-store, you will be sent an Order Acknowledgement (OA) by email. We kindly request that you verify the details stated on the OA. If we do not receive any modification details within 48 hours of sending the OA, we will assume that the order is correct and will process accordingly. No alterations can be made once the order has been placed with the manufacturer and Harris Furnishings cannot be held responsible for undetected OA errors.
It is recommended that you print a copy of your OA in order for the driver to sign on delivery to confirm that delivery and payment have been made. Your invoice coupled with your OA are your receipt of purchase, payment and guarantee.
2. Deposits
A minimum deposit of 30% is required on all orders, unless payment is made in full upon ordering.
In the event of cancellation, deposits will not be refunded.
3. Items made to order
Alterations to specifications for items made to order can only be guaranteed within 48 hours of placing the order. Any required alterations must be confirmed in writing. Changing an order may cause a delay with your delivery time and may alter the price you have been quoted.
Please note that fabrics and leathers displayed in sample books are chosen at your discretion and selections are your sole responsibility, therefore Harris Furnishings shall have no liability for such selections. It is particularly important to note that when ordering patterned fabrics small samples often do not show the full pattern repeat.
You should also note that when products are ordered to match previous orders, we cannot guarantee colour matching due to variations between batches.
Any items made to order cannot be returned for a refund or exchanged.
4. Payment
We accept the following forms of payment:
Bank transfer: prior to delivery, details on request.
Card payment: prior to delivery (in-store only).
Please note, you should indicate your intended method of payment upon receipt of your invoice.
All goods remain the property of Harris Furnishings until payment is made in full.
5. Delivery
A delivery fee will be quoted at the point of sale, based on your location.
Please note, all delivery dates and lead times quoted are given in good faith and are approximate at the time of placing your order based on the estimated length of time that we believe we can deliver the order to you and/or delivery times provided to us by our suppliers. Delivery dates may be affected by delays that are beyond our control and therefore we cannot accept responsibility for any consequential loss.
Once your complete order has been received by Harris Furnishings, you will be contacted to arrange a delivery date. As our storage facilities are limited, we will not be able to store your items for a long period of time and will endeavour to deliver your order as swiftly as possible.
We cannot give a specific time on the day of your delivery although we will indicate AM or PM. We will endeavour to meet the slot given but this cannot be guaranteed.
Where applicable, our delivery team will carefully install your new furniture in your home, exactly where you want it (subject to access). Please make sure that the areas you want the furniture placed is cleared. They will then remove all wrappings and packaging and dispose of them.
If needed, we can remove your old furniture free of charge on the same day as the delivery of your new items (must be specified in advance).
6. Aftersales
To ensure the efficient resolution of any aftersales issues, please notify us immediately of any problems. We will ensure the goods are duly inspected and problems rectified as a matter of priority.
You will not be entitled to any claim in respect of any repairs or alterations undertaken by yourself, neither will you be entitled to any claim in respect of any defect arising by reason of fair wear and tear or damage due to misuse/abuse /mishandling.
Our drivers will deliver, unpackage and check your furniture for damage. In the case of damage to your furniture, the manufacturer is obliged to rectify the problem if possible with a repair, or where this is not possible, a replacement of the part in question, but neither Harris Furnishings nor the manufacturer are under any legal obligation to exchange your item for a new one or give a refund.
All furniture is guaranteed for a minimum of one year from date of delivery. All furniture out of warranty will be subject to an inspection charge and any subsequent repairs will be carried out on a chargeable basis.
Please keep your OA and invoice by way of your guarantee.

Though we do everything we can to ensure that the accuracy of information and prices published on our website are correct, Harris Furnishings is not responsible for typographical errors or mis-pricing, and prices are subject to change without notice.
